Attempting to reopen a saved record causes the window/tab to briefly appear and then close without issuing any message. My guess is that something has been cached incorrectly. I've also noticed problems with IE8 losing track of your credentials after a time (30 minutes?), resulting in unauthorized errors. Again relaunching the browser resolves this. Hopefully these issues will be resolved so that IE8 is fully supported for use with CRM 3.0 and 4.0. The performance improvements are very impressive, especially when extensive scripting has been added. If you are making a Workflow with variables in text boxes (e.g. you're using the Forms Assistant), IE8 strips out the variable and just leaves the raw text, such as {Last Name(Lead)}.
