    Hello,

How much size of CRM VPC Latest version

  2. Christian | April 23rd, 2009 at 11:38 pm

    Anu,
You’ll download a total 4.7 GB of 7 RAR files… just enough to burn to one DVD, I think. After extracting, the actual VPC is about 16 GB.

I want to complete information about the Microsoft Dynamics CRM

  4. Hussein | May 7th, 2009 at 6:42 am

i’m wondering what is the password for this new CRM VPC?
it’s not included in the VPC documents and the old VPC password dosen’t work.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hussein,

I think the login info appears in the background as a wallpaper as soon as you get to the login screen. Nevertheless, here’s the info you need:

    User: Administrator
    Password: pass@word1

You’ll find that this is the same login info for all of the previous CRM VPC releases as well.

Do you know why this only available for Partners? I can download the VPC dated 2/2008 from the Microsoft site but cannot get to this one with the Accelerators.

  7. Christian | May 22nd, 2009 at 8:09 am

    Emily,

Unfortunately I don’t know if the VPC will be released for all users. Only bet right now is to ask someone with PartnerSource access to login briefly for you and access the link.

  8. Neil | May 29th, 2009 at 3:10 am

The above password doesn’t work, any other ideas?

  9. Christian | May 29th, 2009 at 1:34 pm

    Neil,

The user and password I provided above should definitely work. Menno’s site also has the same posted.
    http://www.tekoppele.com/Blog/post/2009/04/17/Microsoft-Dynamics-CRM-40-VPC-(2009-Edition).aspx

Check for the usual login problem suspects, like the wrong domain or NumLock setting. Good luck!

Remember the VPC use the US keyboard. So the actual password when using the UK keyboard is: pass”word1 (i.e. shift + 2 === the ‘@’ symbol on the US keyboad.

Help! I can’t get in! I have the April 09 version from PartnerSource and have it fired up in Virtual Server in x64 machine, attached it to a network card and everything seems fine, except the login #@!# Is accepting RDP turned on? Am using litwareinc\administrator and pass@word1

  12. Chris | July 17th, 2009 at 2:35 am

OK, I changed my internet security setting to LOW for local intranet and I can now reach the server login screen and the password works as described – guess cross-domain or some such problem. Chris

  14. Lel | January 19th, 2010 at 1:42 pm

    Where did the downloads go!!!!
    I need them now!!!

  15. Christian | January 19th, 2010 at 2:32 pm

    Lesley,

I confirmed that the link still works. Sorry but you may need PartnerSource access to the website. Good luck!

  16. Clyde | January 19th, 2010 at 4:12 pm

    Christian,
I have PartnerSource access, but when I visit the page the links to the individual rar files have been removed and a note added that says “VPC temporarily removed but will be replaced in the near future.” Any idea what may be going on with this?

    Thanks, Clyde

Not sure, but you can try the below link for a newer VPC to download.

Anyone have a link to a VPC version that users can use? Assuming that 2009 only works for partners, is there a 2008 version worth using?

    Thanks

  19. Neil2 | May 11th, 2010 at 10:34 pm

In the VPC demo, does anyone know the login/username for theon the eService Customer Login Fabrikam page?

  20. mardukes | June 3rd, 2010 at 11:30 am

Isn’t the 2008 VPC somewhat worth less? The server OS times out after an hour due to the trial license being expired.

  21. Christian | June 3rd, 2010 at 11:41 am

    mardukes,

Totally agree. Perhaps you missed my update edit at the beginning of the page, where there is a link to a new VPC that incorporates Contact Center functionality. You’ll need PartnerSource access though.
