Anyone have a link to a VPC version that users can use? Assuming that 2009 only works for partners, is there a 2008 version worth using?

Thanks

Not sure, but you can try the below link for a newer VPC to download.

The description:
The Microsoft Dynamics CRM Integrated Contact Center Demonstration VPC has been released for Dynamics Partners to use. This VPC is built upon the April 2009 VPC and has significant features around a Contact Center including CTI Bar and Ribbon for Contact Agent.

Christian,
I have PartnerSource access, but when I visit the page the links to the individual rar files have been removed and a note added that says "VPC temporarily removed but will be replaced in the near future." Any idea what may be going on with this?

Thanks, Clyde

Lesley,

I confirmed that the link still works. Sorry but you may need PartnerSource access to the website. Good luck!

OK, I changed my internet security setting to LOW for local intranet and I can now reach the server login screen and the password works as described - guess cross-domain or some such problem. Chris

Remember the VPC use the US keyboard. So the actual password when using the UK keyboard is: pass"word1 (i.e. shift + 2 === the '@' symbol on the US keyboad.

Neil,

The user and password I provided above should definitely work. Menno's site also has the same posted.
http://www.tekoppele.com/Blog/post/2009/04/17/Microsoft-Dynamics-CRM-40-VPC-(2009-Edition).aspx

Check for the usual login problem suspects, like the wrong domain or NumLock setting. Good luck!
